| At certain times of the year the wreck of
the Helvetia is more exposed and makes an interesting foreground
to Worms Head. At these times there are often several photographers
set up ready to take their particular shot. This particular evening
I thought I had timed everything just right and I was there, on
my own, setting up my tripod. But the tide was on the way out
and there was nowhere dry for me to place my camera bag so I had
to run back up the beach for a suitable spot. I took out everything
I wanted and went back to the tripod. Believe it or not I actually
missed the best shot, but as my mind's image of that lost shot
fades and I look at this one I am pleased.
Because of the low light I had to take a longish exposure and
it has created the frothiness inside the hulk as the waves moved
about inside.
