Freshwater West is where some scenes of the the latest Harry Potter film were shot, it was also the location of another recent film but, at the moment, its name escapes me - never mind. Normally this beach is heaving with surfers but as the tide was out and the day was young I expect they were all in their sleeping bags recovering from the night before.
