Kidwelly Route 1
From the Railway Inn, Killay follow the cycle track through Dunvant to Gowerton and stay on the B4295 to Pont y Cob Road, head towards Loughor and cross the bridge, turn right at the roundabout, go through Bynea and Llwynhendy to the traffic lights at Pemberton. Turn right and take the third left. Go straight across the A4138, past the hospital to Felinfoel. Head towards Llanelli centre but turn sharp left (almost turning back on yourself) onto Old Road. At the next roundabout go straight on to Stradey Road (B4308). This has a long steady hill, carry on through Trimsaran until you reach the A484, turn right and immediately left to Kidwelly town centre. You will find 'Time for Tea' on the right.

After sufficient sustenance head back up the road but now stay on it until just before the roundabout. The cycle track uses the pavement on the opposite side here but take great care crossing. Where the pavement track ends carefully cross the road and take the lane on your left, after a mile and a half turn right at the T junction. Carry on along this road until you reach the main road once again. Turn left and just before the church at Pembrey turn right to Burry Port and head towards the marina. Cross to the other side and take the coastal path to Llanelli, continue past Penclacwydd, cross the A484 by the cycle bridge then go through the car park, turn right and then left at the roundabout, cross the Loughor bridge, take the first turning at the roundabout, Pont y Cob Road will be on your right, head to the traffic lights at the B4295, turn left, straight ahead at the next traffic lights. Carefully take the right hand lane at the next lights and turn right immediately beyond the lights. Stay on the cycle track through Dunvant to the Railway Inn.
